Mr. Kuivila,

I saw your presentation on Channel 2 concerning your new invention called the “Gate Glide” which solves the frustrating experience of having to lift a heavy wood gate at just the right angle with one hand and at the same time trying to get the latch to engage in order to lock the gate.  Recalling how my Sons gate had the same problem while I was housesitting for him, I acquired one of the latches and put it on his gate while he was away on vacation.  After gathering the few tools it took to install the Gate Glide it took me five minutes to get it installed and it worked beautifully.  When my son returned home and saw how effortless the gate closed he could not believe such a simple, and inexpensive solution could resolve a problem that he had struggled with since the day he moved into his home in Highlands Ranch.  You are to be congratulated on all aspects of this product: inexpensive, functional, aesthetics, ageless, and ease  of installation.

Sincerely,

Wayne Gardner, Colorado Springs, CO 80908

Good show.  You  gave me a reason to use Gate Glide!!  After rebracing my gate last summer for perfect latch alignment, I know that gravity and time will recreate the sag.  Your video was the first time I heard you mention that it will support a properly braced gate to help prevent the ravages of time.  It should have been obvious, but oh well.  Perhaps a promotional point for those who don’t think they have a gate problem.
